General Terms of Position:

The Engage Lead Serve Board strives to enhance the education of students by providing structured experiential and developmental opportunities that encourage community engagement, model good leadership, and allow active service. The board promotes collaboration between organizations and focus areas that encourage philanthropy, service, leadership development, and civic engagement. The Board is composed of committees, formed and organized by the Board itself, and Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) with similar visions. RSOs select their own representative to serve on the Board through their own application processes.

All 2013-2014 members of the Engage Lead Serve Board will serve in an Associate Director capacity for the remainder of spring semester and take full direction of their position beginning May 1, 2013. Associate Directors will work with the current Director to learn the procedures and protocols established by the Office of Civic Engagement, Leadership, and Service and the members of the Engage Lead Serve Board. Furthermore, they will work to develop programs and initiatives for the summer and fall, work to further network with individuals in the campus and local community that have vested interest in the area of concentration, and select or form relationships with existing chairs, coordinators, and/or committee members. They should also discuss best practices for the development and growth of the program and set goals for the program. The term will last until the next associate members are installed (May 1, 2013).
